The food here is excellent. Mountain fresh tastes best! As we’re constantly reinventing our menu, you’ll (almost) never eat the same thing twice. Sometimes vegetarian, sometimes not. Sometimes with an aperitivo, sometimes without. Usually on a plate, sometimes on a tiered serving stand. Always delicious! And always local, regional and homemade.

We’re serious! The Berghaus has its own personality. It’s unassuming but has lots to give. It’s down-to-earth but will lift you up. It’s full of character because we run it with passion. Hosting is in our blood. It’s that simple!

Nature means quiet. It means forest, meadows, mountains and relaxation in its simplest form. Just go outside and take a deep breath. Hike the Rosengarten massif or Latemar range, or simply take a walk through the woods. Even our delightfully small spa area is a miniature natural world. So it’s good for the soul. There’s nothing better!

The Berghaus Rosengarten belongs to the Bikehotels Südtirol. What does that mean? It means that you and your bike are in excellent hands here. We have a locked bike garage, wash and repair station and a drying room. And we haven’t even mentioned the endless tour options or personalised tour recommendations!

The Eggental valley is one of only a handful of Italian holiday regions that has been certified as sustainable by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). With buses, trains and lifts, local public transport really lives up to its promises. You can travel around car-free with public transport. That means you can leave your car at the hotel – or better yet, at home!

A change of scenery can really work wonders. At the Berghaus Rosengarten there is now a new workation space – an office library, if you will, with desks, comfortable creative areas, plenty of natural light and inspiring views. Working in a holiday atmosphere makes matters easier and the view out of the window is an incentive to get things done – after all, you want to be out and about as soon as you’ve finished!
